How to rent the building

You must agree to follow the following list of rules before being allowed to rent the building. Anyone caught breaking the rules is subject to not being able to use the building for future events.

Check that the day you wish to rent the building is available. Reservations show up on the calendar after deposits have been paid.

How do I rent the building?
To rent the building check availability here. Then contact John R Robinson by telephone at 903-654-3986. In order to reserve a date you must pay the deposit first. Deposit fees are $50 for residents of the city of retreat and $75 for non residents.
Can you smoke or consume alcohol in the building?
This is a smoke free facility. Alcoholic beverages are also not permitted on any city property.
How should you clean up after you use the building?
The building must be swept and mopped after each use. A mop, broom, and other cleaning supplies are provided by the city. Cleaning supplies are located under the sink. All trash, including the restrooms, must be removed when you leave. The city does not provide trash pick-up service. There are trash bags under the sink. Please put a new bag in the trash can before you leave. If you fail to clean this building and carry off the trash there will be a bill for $75.00 incurred. Your future use of this building depends on your cooperation.

What amenities come with the building?
The building comes with central heat and air, ADA compliant restroom with diaper changing station, and a full kitchen including a sink, stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator.
Can you adjust the furniture in the building?
Please do not move the large oval table for any reason. If any other furniture needs to be moved around please do not slide them across the floor. Please make sure that before you leave the building you return all furniture to it’s right place.
Can you decorate the building?
Effective immediately there will not be any decorations attached to the walls, the ceiling, or ceiling fans by tape, thumb tacks, or staples.
What else should I do before I leave?
When you leave the building please make sure that the AC / Heat is turned completely off. Please turn off all lights and ceiling fans. Please note that the key to this building must be returned immediately after use.
